Semester in Rome

Hey everyone,

As most of you know, I will be in Rome, Italy all of the spring semester taking classes and traveling a bit. There have been a few requests to do a blog to keep people updated on the places I see and the things I do.

So with that, welcome to my blog. I hope to update the blog fairly regularly but if I fail, I apologize. I plan to post some pictures of the places that I visit. Here are some of the places that I know for sure that I am going to be visiting while in Europe:

Rome, Greece, Pompeii, Florence, Venice, and a few other places in Italy. Along with these places, I will have a chance to travel on a few weekends and on a 10 day spring break to wherever I wish.

I hope that I am able to convey the truths that I learn from traveling around Europe and taking challenging classes on this blog in a coherent way. A few people have told me that this will be a life-changing semester and I only wish that it can live up to half of that claim.

My desire is that through the art, history, culture, and people I encounter in Europe, I am pointed toward the ultimate truth in God and that my relationship with him grows exponentially. Where better to grow than Rome, the very place that Paul was imprisoned for the work of Christ?

I hope that you enjoy the pictures and the commentary that I provide here. See you all in a few months.
